Led by Miss Kate, The Woodland School ethos is providing daily opportunities to have meaningful daily contact with nature-come rain or shine

The outdoor learning builds resilience, confidence, curiosity and a deep connection with the natural world.

The children learn through investigating, risk taking, climbing and balancing, collecting natural treasures, observing wildlife and working together in the fresh Yorkshire air.

The daily curriculum includes daily walks to the church. Local woodland and village play park where the children can gather natural resources for crafts, loose parts and seasonal projects.
