11 Dec It’s child’s play for Roxy
Roxy Fox is demonstrating that it really is child’s play when it comes to gaining qualifications in record time.
Roxy recently ended her apprenticeship with Little Pippins Montessori Nursery one year ahead of schedule after successfully passing her Level 3 in Childcare, with a Distinction.
The 17-year-old only joined Little Pippins in September 2024 and is a now a fully qualified Early Years Practitioner at the nursery.
She has impressed so much that Roxy has now also been made Leader of the Baby Room at the nursery, as well as a Designated Safeguarding Officer.
Roxy said: “I am delighted to have completed my apprenticeship ahead of schedule and to be promoted to the position of room leader.
“I really enjoy working at Little Pippins and have learned a lot since I joined and I am looking forward to progressing my career further, including undertaking my Level 5 in Childcare.”
Victoria Pollitt, Owner/Headteacher of Little Pippins, said: “Roxy first came to the nursery on work experience when she was at school and when we decided to offer an Apprenticeship, she was always our first choice.
“She is very determined, focused young woman and we are thrilled by her rapid progress and development.
“With people like Roxy working in early years learning, the future is bright for the profession.”
